John's Hopkins

Some of the 5th grade students took the amazing opportunity of joining Johns Hopkins graduate students in a study about dream schools. They interviewed the graduate students, and the graduate students had an opportunity to interview them as well. The adults and children shared some wonderful conversations, laughs, and smiles. They inspired one another to think deeply about what is truly best for children in school.

After the interviews, the children and graduate students collaborated on a piece of art. The artwork was meant to portray their dream school. The pieces contained a hand print of a child and a hand print of the adult(s) they worked with. After 3 weeks of collaborating. The groups got together, shared, and enjoyed some dinner! Enjoy the pictures and video clip of our experience!
